3. HUD Announces More Than $1.1 Million For Affordable Housing and Community Development in Douglas County and Grand Junction
   

   DENVER – U.S. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan today announced two communities in Colorado will receive $1,160,881 to support community development and produce more affordable housing. The two recipients are Douglas County and Grand Junction. Douglas County will receive $816,463, and Grand Junction’s funding totals $344,418 for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.
